New Clients, Cancelation, Sickness
and Late Arrival Policies

New Clients & Cancellation Policy: 

 

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling or rescheduling any appointment.  If you don't provide 24 hour notice to reschedule or are a "no show", there is a $40 "no show" fee.  If a gift certificate is being used for the appointment, it will be reduced 50% in redemption value.

Sickness: 

 

Please reschedule your appointment when feeling under the weather to protect us both as well as my other clients.  You may be asked to provide a doctor's note via e-mail or at your next appointment to avoid being charged the cancelation fee. 

Late Arrivals: 

 

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the fee for the session you booked.

Gift Certificates: 

 

Gift certificates are non-refundable and redeemable at the value paid for them. Specials rates and gift certificates can not be used in conjunction with special rate offers unless otherwise specified.

Sales Tax: 

 

Sales tax at the rate of 6.625% is payable on all massage services (at the time performed) unless a prescription from a physician has been obtained. 

 

Prescriptions: 

The following are acceptable sources from whom a prescription may be obtained:   licensed medical doctor (M.D.), osteopath (O.D.), chiropractor, podiatrist (D.P.M.), psychologist with a doctorate in psychology, or dentist.  This direction must be in writing, and must contain the following: name of patient; name and signature of referring medical doctor, osteopath, chiropractor, podiatrist, psychologist, or dentist; purpose of the referral and description of conditions or needs to be addressed by the massage, bodywork, or somatic therapy.
